A new day, a very new day...

Neither of my two little girls will be wearing this cute, blue little jacket. But my son will! My husband couldn't resist the jaunt to the Gap to purchase his first items for our little boy. I can't believe it, and already it feels different, but yes, we just found out that baby #3 is a boy. I'm thrilled and terrified all at the same time. It almost seems like having my first child all over again. I'm gonna need lots of help from you pro's out there. The girls are super excited; they really wanted a brother. Now the hard part: naming him...(amidst other things:)

I'm so happy for you!! When I saw you on friday I thought "I hope Gab is having a boy, because that would just be so much fun for them." Of course 3 girls would be fun too, but it's a different kind of fun : )

I can't say that I agree about the name thing... somehow we came up with a name when I was like 5 weeks pregnant! lol!!

Whoop! :) How very wonderful, Gabrielle! I was just thinking the other day about your Gap outings, and what bargains you guys find! So fun! I am thrilled you are having a boy. ...And by the way, we thought it was MUCH easier naming our girl than it was our boys! Why is that??

Oh, boys are so great! There will be swords fights and legos and trains but the best is they love their mommy!!

YEAH! How wonderful. Having a boy will be a whole new experience, but a great one!! I can't imagine my life without Zach and want to reassure you that adapting to a boy is much easier than you might think. Congrats.

Congrats a thousand times over!!! Your son is going to love you, Gabby, in a way you haven't experienced yet! You are going to LOVE it. And on the name thing...we had girls names from the get go, before we even got pregnant for the first time...then we had 4 boys! :-) We never did finalize a name before I was 7 month's pregnant with any of them. You'll pick such a great one though!

Congrats on the baby boy! I'm not sure a woman can be a pro at raising a boy until she has four or five who are already grown. My experience so far is that they are easier babies and harder toddlers. That could be just a result of birth order in our house though. You'll both love it!

Oh yippee!!! You will never be the same, trust me! From the day he enters your home you will be blessed beyond belief! There is NOTHING like a mommy and her BOY!!! Can't wait to meet him!

Gab, I'm so glad you get to have a boy this time! There will definitely be a different tone to your house.:) Girls are fun to dress up and put bows in and watch play with baby dolls, and boys are so funny to talk with and wonder WHERE they came up with those ideas and stories! I have to laugh, though. all this "boy talk" and the verification word below is "pooph" hahahaha. you will need to get used to the poop talk. I'm still working on it....trying to outlaw such topics at the dinner table. sigh:) ~Priscilla
