After a whirlwind summer
of family visits, weddings,
and 3 straight weekends of
traveling, I'm finally getting
around to cleaning out
last years' book shelves
to make room for this coming
Fall school year (which is
creeping up ever so quickly!)

And as a homeschool mom,
sometimes you look back at
the previous year and wonder,
"What in the world did we
do last year?" And the doubt
of whether you did anything
worthy lingers over your head.

Well, I'm determined not to worry over last year anymore...
This is the stack of books I came up with this morning--we read
every single one of these suckers! (and there's a whole other
shelf-full!)

So for all you homeschool moms out there, when you need
encouragement over all the work you're doing at home with
your little ones, just clean out your book shelves and take heart!

I love how you've evaluated your school year by the good books you've read together! I miss those times-and every school beginning is a wonderful adventure-
