Asian Lettuce Wraps

So here is this wonderful recipe I got from my good friend Laura. Everyone has just drooled over this so I must post it...

Asian Lettuce Wraps

2 c. white rice, cooked
1 lb. ground pork (like breakfast sausage)
1 bunch green onions
1/2 tsp garlic (like 1 minced clove)
2 carrots, grated
3 T. hoisin sauce
2 T. soy sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
1/4 tsp hot chili paste (if I can't find this I use sweet chili paste)
1-2 heads iceberg lettuce (or Boston Bib Lettuce, just a crispy lettuce; rinsed and separated)

Cook rice according to package directions. Cook pork, green onions, and garlic until browned. Add carrot, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce. Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil and chili paste. For serving or dishing out, let each person spoon rice on lettuce, followed by the sausage mix, roll up and enjoy!

Gabby, I am thinking you got this recipe from me and that I have never tried it! I will have to try it--it really is good??

By the way, Leigh had her baby 2 days ago (35 weeks!)!
